FLIGHT TO WEST AFRICA
' LONDON, September 10. A transport Command Liberator, carrying Lord Swintorf, Resident Mm- * ister in West Africa, and Mr. Oliver Stanley, the Colonial Secretary,. this morning completed the first non-stop flight from' Britain to West Africa, travelling 3150 miles in 15 hours 58 minutes.
Lord Swinton is returning after a brief visit to London for consultations. Mr. Stanley is visiting West Africa to gain first-hand knowledge of the West African' war effort.
