MEDIUM BOMBERS' ATTACK Rec. noon. RUGBY, August 18. The Air Ministry and American Army Headquarters announce that formations of American Marauders attacked enemy airfields at Woensdrecht, in Holland, and near Lille, in France, this morning. Little fighter opposition was encountered, but the anti-aircraft fire was stroncr R.A.F., Dominion, and Allied Spitfires escorted and covered the medium .bombers in these operations and destroyed one enemy fighter. One of our planes is missing.—B.O.W.
