PROMISES TO FARMERS
Rec. 1 p.m. BRISBANE, July 28. A guaranteed minimum price to the farmers of Is 6d a pound for all butter produced on the basis of choicest quality was promised by the leader of the Federal Country Party, Mr. Fadden, in his party policy speech. He also promised the farmers 5s 2d a bushel on a bagged basis at the main shipping ports for wheat of 1943-44 crop which was produced on licensed . areas.
