SUB-LIEUT. MACDONALD
The Prime Minister (Mr. Fraser) has been advised by the Admiralty that the King has approved the award of a bar to the Distinguished Service
Cross held by, Temporary Sub-Lieu-tenant George James Macdonald. R.N.Z.N.V.R.
The advice of the award of the D.F.C.' to Sub-Lieutenant Macdonald was published on April 21, 1942, the award being made for good service in attacks on an enemy convoy. Sub-Lieutenant Macdoriald's father is Mr. John W. Macdonald, Government Life Insurance Department, Wellington. ' '
