The Czecho-Slovak crew of a Beaufighter recently shot down, over the north-east coast of England, a Junker 88, thus scoring the sixth destroyed enemy plane. The fight took place at a distance of one hundred yards, and the motor of the Junker was hit. The plane- exploded and fell into the sea.
