More Air Blows At Axis

LONDON, June 27. R.A.F. bombers were out again over Germany last night, attacking targets in the west and north-west of the Reich for the eighth night running-. They also sowed mines in enemy shipping- lanes. One of the bombers is missing*. . * . Fighter planes carried out a sweep over northern France and attacked airfields and railway targets without loss to themselves. - In the Mediterranean, R.A.F. bombers attacked the Italian port of Messina, in Sicily, and the island terminal of the Messina ferry. This attack followed a raid on Messina by Flying1 Fortresses on Friday, when no fewer than 25 Axis fighters were shot down.
