MAKARA COUNTY COUNCIL
Nominations for chairman at the annual meeting of the Makara County Council yesterday were Councillors E. Windley (office holder) and R. W. Bothamley, the former, when urged, reconsidering his decision to decline nomination. The ballot resulted in the appointment of Councillor Bothamley. Councillors R. W. Bothamley, A. D. Park, V. Mexted, and E. Windley were appointed the works committee.
