GERMAN CONSCRIPTS
RUGBY, June 2,
Of women conscripted under the Germans' plans for total labour mobilisation, 90 per cent, have been drafted to factories and only 10 per cent, to offices, according to the Berlin correspondent. of the Swedish newspaper "Dagens Nyheter." More than 83 per cent, of the people mobilised are women, and fewer than 17 per cent, are men—showing the extent to which men up* to 65 were already utilised. Only 11 per cent, of the men mobilised could be taken. The remainder were rejected,, chiefly for health reasons. Two-thirds of the women, however, were taken.~B.O.W.
