OPTIMISTS' CLUB.
At the annual meeting of the V.M.C.A. Optimists' Club, it was decided unanimously" to raise funds to purchase a chapel building for the V.M.C.A. boys' camp site at Otaki. The following officers were elected: —Chief optimist, Mr. R. Smith; deputy chief optimist, Mr. C. A. Russell; secretary,' Mr. J. A. Nash; sheriff, Mr. F. Lintott; musical director, Mr. H. Hindle; assistant musical director, Mr. Ken. Macaulay; padre, the Rev. Ashleigh Petch; pianist, Mr. J. Duncan; committee, Messrs. S. Pennington, D. Sutton, G. Ivory, S. Cross,. J.. Living.
