AUSTRALIAN DAIRY OUTPUT
SYDNEY. April 30. Australia's butter output for the year ending June 30 is estimated at 178,867 tons, against 169,454 tons in 1940-41 and 211,987 tons in 1939-40. The Commonwealth lms contracted to supply the United Kingdom with 70,000 tons of butter and 10,000 tons of dry butterfat during the year ending June 30. Till March 31, exports totalled 51,120 tons. Cheese production for nine months was 31,105 tons, and exports for the same period totalled 9510 tons. Production for the financial year is estimated at 36,555 tons, compared with 29,798 tons for 1941-42.
