LONDON, April 30.
Some confusion exists about the political situation in Northern Ireland. Early news agency messages last night stated that Mr. J. M. Andrews had resigned the premiership and that Sir Basil Brooke had succeeded, but later a Court Circular from Government House in Belfast merely said that the Governor had given an audience to Mr. Andrews and added: "It is understood that Sir Basil Brooke will have an audience again during the weekend." Later the Governor summoned air Basil Brooke to see him tomorrow. The Press Association's Belfast correspondent says that Mr. Andrews will tender his resignation in the course of a day or so, when Sir Basil Brooke will be asked to form v Government. SPANIARDS TO HELP NAZIS (Rec. 9 a.m.) LONDON, April 30. The Madrid correspondent of the Exchange Telegraph Company says that a contingent of the Spanish Blue Division, comprising 970 officers, n.c.o.s, and men, is leaving for Germany tomorrow, en route to the Russian front.
