SHIP DAMAGED BY FIRE

SYDNEY, March 31
Fire destroyed the superstructure of a 10,000-ton vessel at an Australian port today. The ship was carrying a rull cargo, none of which was damaged, Soldiers on duty nearby voluhteered to remove some explosives from the shipbut the fire was under control before, this was necessary. Detectives of the arson squad are investigating.
