SOCIAL SECURITY PENSIONERS

A largely attended meeting of. old age and other pensioners was. held in. the Trades Hall this week to. hear an address by Mr. T. H. Megann, president and organiser of the Auckland branch of the Social Security Age Pensioners' and Widows* Association. • The speaker outlined the objects of the organisation, which included the'-im-provement of the economic condition of people who through age or infirmity were badly handicapped in the struggle for existence.
