SIZE OF SACKS
<P.A.) CHRISTCHURCH, March 19. A committee has been formed with the object of reducing the size and ■weight of sacks used for wheat and other produce. This is the result of recent meetings of representatives of the farmers, millers, merchants, waterside workers, shipping, and other interests. . A good deal of progress is reported to have been made. Various sizes and shapes of sacks have been produced for testing and experiments rire to be carried out in the next few days. ' .
