"DESERT VICTORY" SENT TO STALIN
LONDON, March 19. Mi\ Churchill has sent a copy of the Eighth Army film "Desert Victory" to Mr. Stalin. In a message Mr. Churchill said that he had just seen a film of the Red Army's .victory at Stalingrad. Our own front line cameramen with the Eighth Army had produced a record of our victory in the desert. Mr. Churchill said he had bad the commentary translated into Russian, and was pending a copy of the film in the hope that Mr. Stalin would have lime to see it. The men of the Eighth Army would be proud to know th:it. the record of their victory had been seen by their allies—the army and people of the Soviet Union.
