HUNDREDS KILLED IN SARDINIA
LONDON, March 14,
Rome radio announced that 652 persons were killed and hundreds injured, including a number of civil servants, at Cagliari, capital of Sardinia, during a recent Allied raid. Cagliari had a peacetime population of 100,000.
