WHAT MR. CHURCHILL WANTS
(Rec. 9 a.m.) NEW YORK, Feb. 8. The "New York Times," in an editorial, recalls that every flight abroad by Mr. Churchill has resulted in a sudden and unexpected attack against the enemy. Therefore Casablanca and the Turkish meeting are causing jitters and confusion in Germany. There is no doubt, the paper says, -that this confusion is exactly what Mr. Churchill-set out to achieve. The Axis reaction to hjs vigorous hints of coming blows shcAild gratify not only his political judgment but also his sense of humour.
