IN TUNISIA

ENEMY OFFENSIVE NOT

RENEWED

LONDON, January 26. - In central Tunisia, our forces have continued to operate towards the north in the Ousseltia Valley. Bad weather was reported here again yesterday. One correspondent, says that Allied troops, patrolling north-west into the valley, advanced 15 miles before coming into contact with the enemy. The Germans have made no attempt to renew their offensive. At one time last week they were actually within two miles of Ousseltia. The local fighting in northern Tunisia now centres around a triangle formed by Pont dv Fahs, Bou Arada to the west, and Ousseltia, which is south of Bou Arada.
