CAMP CONCERTS

ENTERTAINERS KEPT BUSY

The Official Camp Entertainers presented a concert at yet another mili tary camp recently, when- Mrs. Bessie McKinley and members of the Victoria League Concert Party, provided a varied and delightful programme for the large audience. Colourful frocking and tuneful numbers were features of this performance. Soloists .were Mrs. Bessie McKinley, Mrs. Henley, Mrs. A. McKinnon, Mrs. Richard Bayle, and Misses Joan Vause, Rosalie Pound, Glen MeMorran, and Nell Kendall. Misses Valmai Cramond, Kathleen Pears, Lilian Henry, Betty. Menard, Olwen Jones, and Lesley Jones were in hilarious sketches. Those taking part in ballets were Misses Cora Duncan (ballet mistress), Gwyneth Jones, Evelyn Bradnock, Fiona McKay, Margaret Madden, and Cecil c Mack. Miss Evelyn McFarlane was accompanist. Captain Munro, on behalf of the Camp Commandant, thanked Mrs. McKinley for her entertainment. The guests were entertained at supper by officers of No. 1 Mess, Major Pollard on behalf of all in the camp, congratulating Mrs. Dennistoun-Wood (organiser) and Mrs. Gwen Webb (hon. secretary 0.C.E.) for their three years' service in connection with camp concerts. He thanked especially the girls of the concert party and the members of the Automobile Association who supply their cars and give their services, like all other members of the 0.C.E., voluntarily. The entertainers wish to thank the Automobile Association and Mesdames Bayly, HortOn, Clarke, Toop, Misses Wilson, Neave, and Messrs. Stout, Gunnion, and Bacon for their assistance at all times.
