LONDON, January 25. "They can jump in the sea for all we care," said Italian prisoners to whom an Associated Press correspondent talked outside Tripoli. The Italians cursed the Germans for leaving them without transport and said they were glad they had been taken prisoner. The Germans ate all the good food and left the Italians only hard bread.' Rome radio said that Signor Guglielmotti, the Italian journalist and National Councillor, in a broadcast, stated: "Tripolitania was for us a symbol of the new life and a centre of hope and pride. Its loss has pained all Italian hearts."
