LEND-LEASE IN REVERSE
NEW YORK, January, 23. The Washington correspondent :bf the "New York Herald Tribune" says authoritative British quarters predict that the lend-lease scales will, be evenly balanced at the end of the war in New Zealand and Australia, where the bulk of the food consumed by the Airerican forces is supplied, from the, Dominions' farms, and lend-lease "in reverse" is in full swing .with the .New Zealand and Australian populations on reduced "rations in order to;<supply the American fighting machine.
