HIGH DEATH-ROLL IN PLANE CRASH
NEW YORK, January 21. Major-General Harold George, commanding general of the air transport force, announced that an army transport plane crashed near the coast of Dutch Guiana on January 15, en route overseas. Twenty-six passengers and nine of the crew were killed, including Eric Knight, the well-known author of "This Above All," Messrs. P. E. Foxworth, of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and William Hodson, and O. E. Henryson, of the State Department. The others killed were mostly military officers. "Ehere were no survivors*.
