The Wellington branch of the New Zealand Amalgamated Engineering and Related Trades Industrial Union of Workers, at a recent meeting, adopted a resolution to ask the Government to lift the ban on the "People's Voice," "this being in accord with the solemn declaration of the Atlantic Charter, which provides tor freedom of the Press, freedom of speech, and freedom of thought. The right to expi*ess our opinions is becoming increasingly necessary, if. having won the war, we wish to win the peace."
