ROWING

A rowing regatta held by the Star and Wellington Clubs on the Koroltoro course on Saturday afternoon was restricted to one event on account of the strong northerly wind. The one.event, a four-oared race, resulted: —Petone No ' 1 (Clayton. Grecnstreet, Sharron, Jonas son) I; Petone No. 2 (D. Boswell. J. Alex ande'r. h. Boswell. Jackson), 2; Star (Tapp, Casey. Mapleston, Band), 3. Won by four lengths.

Elsewhere in this issue will be found the results of the art union, raffles, and competitions held in aid of the Leper Nursing Sisters' appeal, - the drawing of the art union having taken place at the Convent of Our Lady of Oceania, Heretaunga, on Saturday last.
