'fho Royal Port Nicholson Yacht Club, ■which'had its first yacht-racing season 60 years ago, commenced its 1942-43 season on Saturday afternoon. ' Associated with . the commodore (Mr. d G. Price), the harbourmaster' (Captain P. S. Peterson), the chairman of the Wellington Provincial Yacht and Motor-boat Association (Mr. G. Tanner), the commodore of the Evans Bay Yacht Club (Mr. E. Hargreares). and , Lieutenant-Com-mander Bothamley. The cup for the winner of last, season's ladies' race was presented to Miss; Tonksr by Lady Norwood.
