MISS H. MCDONALD RESIGNS
It was with great regret that the Y.W.C.A. Board of Directors recently received the resignation of Miss Helen McDonald from the position of director of physical education. Miss McDonald has held the appointment for four years and during that time hundreds of girls and women have enjoyed her tuition in classes. She is a past master at organising for holidays, and the Solway Camp, under her direction, has become a high light of the summer holidays for hundreds of girls. Solway Camp this year will be under the direction of Miss Ailsa Blakey, M.A., who has already proved her ability during the past months as a camp organiser at a number of weekend camps for industrial workers. The Y.W.C.A. has been able to secure the services, of Madame Gisa Taghcht for part-time work as director o£ physical education for next year. Madame Taglicht is highly qualified and her work is already known to many people in Wellington.
