THIEVES' BIG HAUL

OVER £700 TAKEN FROM

HOUSES

Taking only cash from houses they have ransacked, thieves in the last three weekends have stolen more than £700 from houses in the Roseneath and Kilbirnie districts. Their biggest single haul was £600 from one house, and from two other places they took £60 and £40 respectively. The crimes are believed to have been the work of the same persons in every case, and police investigations are proceeding.
