Housewives in Los Angeles have been asked to save their milk bottle tops, because the county government, co-operating with the Federal Forest Service, is forming a volunteer firewatching service. The cardboard tops from milk bottles are needed for identification badges. On one side will be the fire-watchers' corps insignia, and on the. other complete instructions for when a fire is spotted.
