COLLEGE SPORTS
The St. Patrick's Colleges, Silverstream and Wellington, held their annual athletic sports meetings yesterday, though in the case of Silverstream the events comprised only part of the full programme, which is being spread over several days. The city pupils had their sports on- the Basin Reserve. The events took place in six age groups, and honours were well distributed. Records were made in some of the events at Silverstream. They were by A. M. Robinson (100 yds intermediate), G. Warmington (100 yds junior), and J. Taripq (junior long jump). A following wind, however, ruled out recogni- ' ion of these records.
