SURPLUS OF BARLEY.
Considerable difficulty had been experienced in marketing the 1941-42 Australian barley crop, as there had been little export business. Greater selling progress with the old crop will •be necessary before a further advance could be made to growers. The surplus (mostly in South Australia) is put at 6,000,000 bushels.. . .
