The Under-Secretary of Air, Captain H. Balfour, stated in the House of Commons that no information had yet been obtained from the Japanese Government, either through the protecting Power or from the International Red Cross, concerning R.A.F. personnel in Java and Sumatra when those islands were captured.—B.O.W.
