TIME-BOMB DISCOVERED
NEW YORK, September 8. The discovery of a powerful limebomb in the Western Electric Company's vast plant at Newark, New "Jersey, was disclosed with the arrest by the Federal Bureau of Investigation iof an employee. Bernard Joseph O'Donnell. who was supposed to have found the bomb. He has been charged with attempted sabotage. The accused protested that he made the bomb and planted it merely as heroics and to demonstrate how it could be done. The F.8.1, revealed that the bomb was set to explode at 11 p.m. on Sunday, but at 10.42 p.m. it was handed to the company guards. Had the bomb exploded it could have killed 100 persons.
