VICEREGAL. Government House, Wellington, September 9. Their Excellencies the GovernorGeneral and Lady Newall, attended by Captain H. G. Helmore, returried to Wellington from Dunedin this ■ afternoon. September 10. This morning at Government House his Excellency the Governor-General presented silver wolf decorations to Mr. H. Christie, Dominion Chief Commissioner; Miss Nancy Wilson, Dominion Commissioner for Wolf Cubs; and Mr. J. R. H. Cooksey, Dominion Commissioner for Training, of the Boy Scout Association of New Zealand. Mr. V. R. Meredith arrived. at Wellington today from Auckland. Mr. J. Park, Mayor of. Onehunga, is visiting Wellington. The Hon. W. H. Mclntyre, M.L.C., who has been chairman of the Nelson Education Board for the past 14 years, was unanimously re-elected chairman at the Education Board meeting held at Westport on Tuesday last. During the 24 years Mr. Mclntyre has been a member of the Education Board he has been absent from only one meeting.
