Mrs. Lewis Chambers, who was the guest of Mrs. D. Rodie. Aurora Terrace, for the Mackenzie—Rodie wedding, has returned to Auckland.

Mr.. Mrs., and Miss Rowe, who have been guests at the Occidental Hotel, left yesterday to reside in Auckland.

Dr and Mrs. David White. Tauranga, who have been visiting Wellington, have returned home.

Mrs. J. Ballagh, who has been visiting friends in the North Island, has returned to her home at Crossgates, Southbridge.

Miss Mavis Macdonald, organist at the First Church of Otago, and pianist to the Dunedin Choral Society, has been appointed musical directress at Solway College, Masterton. The appointment dates from the beginning of October.
