JAPS GET REINFORCEMENTS
CHUNGKING, August 16. A communique states that the arrival of 5000 reinforcements, making the total strength 25,000, enabled the Japanese garrison at Linchwan to launch a counter-attack on Friday night against the encircling Chinese.
The battle is still raging.
