RUGBY, August 16.
Fighting French headquarters learns that Germany' is negotiating with Vichy for the production of explosives in unoccupied France. The Germans state that the necessary industrial alcohol must be produced in France, even if that means the complete suppression of wine.
The Germans have refused the Vichy request to protect the factories against aircraft.—B.O.W.
