Lovely old heirloom lace and deep cream chiffon fashioned the gown worn by the bride, who was given away by Mr Harold Clay Lace fashioned the hip-length bodice vvhkh had sleeves to the wrist. The full skirt and train were of rich cream chiffon, closely pleated. Her cream tulle veil was softly inset with lace and arranged beneath a coronet of real orange blossom. She wore the bridegroom's gift of pearl necklace and earrings, and carried a trailed bouquet of hyacinths and freesias.

The bridesmaids. Miss Elfie Watson and Miss Paddy Steele, wore trained frocks of cream brocaded satin damask with square-cut necklines edged with golden-brown fur. Their small cream caps, also fur-trimmed' and worn off the face were charmingly unusual

They carried crimson amaryllis, which made a rich colour contrast. Mr. Eric Barker (England) was1 best man. and Mi. Alan Bramwell (Feilding) was groomsman. The service was choral, Canon D. J. Davies officiating, and Miss Molly Atkinson sang in the church.

The ushers were Messrs. Trevor Allen, Bruce Orchison, Larry Jenco (New York), and Jim Were (England)

Mrs. D. Rodie, wearing a blackberry ensemble ( and a matching hat with a deep turquoise plume, received her guests at a reception held in the Pioneer Club rooms.

For travelling, the bride wore an ensemble of shadow-green with touches of pillar-box red and a small laced toque to match. Her accessories were brown, and she wore leaf-brown fox furs, the gift of the bridegroom.
