MR. LANGSTONE AT AIR TRAINING SCHOOL
LONDON (Ontario). Aug. 14,
The New Zealand High Commissioner, Mr. F. Langstone, presided at ceremonies at No. 4 Air Observers* School, near Crumlin, at which the first New Zealanders were graduated as navigators under the Empire air training plan.
The graduates included Sergeant Pilot Harry Blinkthonv who received his wings in New Zealand, but, when posted as an instructor, declined the appointment and was remustered as a member of an air crew for active service.
Mr. Langstone urged the navigators to make good use of their knowledge in battle.
