"The Auckland.Egg Marketing Committee announced a change in the price of eggs to tajce effect today, the basis "being 'on heavy hen,' wholesale, Is' HM. a dozen, arid retail 2s 2d; standard, hen, .Is 10£ d and 2s Id. The wholesale prices show an alkround reduction of 3d a dozen and the retail, from 3d to 3id. Country storekeepers' ■buying rates" are 2d a dozen lower.
