(Rec. 12.30 p.m.) RUGBY, Aug. 14. A Cairo corrimunique states: "During the night of August 12 our patrol activity c6ntinued and casualties were inflicted on enemy patrols and working parties in the northern sector. "Our artillery shelled a position in the central sector. Yesterday there was nothing to report from our land forces.- Throughout the day fighterbombers attacked enemy vehicles and encampments. "Our light bombers sank at least one motor lighter Ofi the African coast."—B.O.W.
