SEARCH FOR OIL
(P.A.) GREYMOUTH, This Day. Extensive oil boring preparations have been made in the Kumara district, but rumours of a gusher have no foundation, boring not having commenced. A road costing £5000 to the | boring site is being constructed oy bulldozers and boring plant worth £7000 has been assembled, while more worth £100,000 will be available when required. The area is stated to be geophysically ideal.
