NEW WATERLOO BRIDGE
The new Waterloo Bridge will, it is noped, be opened to general traffic in September. Probably only two of the six traffic lanes will be available then. The building of the bridge started in 1938. The cost was estimated at over £1.250^000. The .-bridge has five spans, each of about 238 ft,
