British naval forces to the Mediterranean continue to give the Axis supply lifeline to Libya a ; rough handling. The submarine Turbulent has carried out a memorable patrol in tlie course of which she «ank tJiree medium-sized supply ships, an Italian destroyer of the Navigator! class of 1628 tens, and a small merchant vessel. Details released by tlie Admiralty tell how two Italian destroyers were escorting two heavily laden supply ships and one of medium size. The Turbulent attacked and sank not only both the supply ships of the convoy but aiso one of the escorting destroyers.
