NAZI PUNISHMENT
DEMONSTRATIONS IN NORWAY
STOCKHOLM. June 9, Following anti-German demonstrations at Skien, Herr Terboven, the Nazi leader in Norway, has dismissed, the police chief and other police officials, and has also ordered the arrest of several hundred citizens, imposed a curfew on the prohibited sale of alcohol and tobacco, and closed cinemas and cafes where German troops are not treated with due respect.
Similar action had already been taken at AaJesund, where demonstrations also occurred.
