Government House, Wellington. June 10, 1942. i His Excellency Hie Governor-General \ presided at a meeting of the Executive j Council this morning. Later his Excellency received Col. H. M. Foster. The Minister of Transport (Mr. Semple) is visiting the Auckland district. Accompanied by Mr. G. L. Laurenson, Commissioner of Transport, and Mr. J, Sawers, Assistant General Manager of Railways, the Minister left for the north this morning. They will be at Kaikohe tonight and at Kaitaia tomorrow, and if possible, will return to Auckland on Friday. The Hon. W. E. Barnard,' Speaker of the House of Representatives, returned to Wellington from Auckland today. Mr. T. A. Barrow, Air Secretary, returned to Wellington from Auckland today. .•:
