WAR RELIEF
Since the meeting of the executive committee of the Wellington War Relief Association on April 27, the emergency committee has met 16 times, and has dealt with 49 claims, all of which were referred to and approved by the applications committee. There are still 16 cases under action, and the total number of claims amounts to 65. The number of persons who called at the office was 83. Cases dealt with by the Metropolitan Patriotic Committee were 36, and on behalf of other societies 12. -
