THE COLOGNE RAID
11,000 TO 12,000 KILLED
(Rec. 1.50 p.m.) LONDON, June 8,
According to Reuters correspondent on the French frontier, Herr Abetz. the German Ambassador at Vichy, admitted in conversation that between 11,000 and 12,000 people were killed in the raid on Cologne on May 30, and 180,000 were evacuated after the raid.
