"Railways met their first ilvreai ut the season, in ono of the prinicipal senior Soccer games played- on Saturday, and thus lost tho joint lead which they had previously, held with Moera Stop Out. The latter team won easily and now aro leading; iv the suuior competition. Hospital aro lying second. Saturday's games were played in tlio best football weather • this season aud. generally provided bright football, though as usual there wore some big margins of victory. Scoring was on the high side, averaging nine goals a match. None of tho fourteen teams failed to score. Tho competition points are:—Moera Stop Out S, Hospital 7, Waterside 6, Army A C, Railways 6, Comrades 5, Boys' Institute 4. Technical 0.8. 4, Air Force B 2, Marist 2, Petone 2, Army B 2, Air Force A 0, E.F.S. 0. Results of Saturday's matches were:— Comrades-8, Air Force 1.
