"Railways met their first ilvreai ut the season, in ono of the prinicipal senior Soccer games played- on Saturday, and thus lost tho joint lead which they had previously, held with Moera Stop Out. The latter team won easily and now aro leading; iv the suuior competition. Hospital aro lying second. Saturday's games were played in tlio best football weather • this season aud. generally provided bright football, though as usual there wore some big margins of victory. Scoring was on the high side, averaging nine goals a match. None of tho fourteen teams failed to score.
