SCHOOL RUGBY

For the benefit of football in the, schools £750 was set aside by the New Zealand Rugby Council at a meeting today. The controlling body will require to know how the Rugby grants to schools are expended, and applications for the grants mxist be made by June 30.

For primary school tournaments it was decided that Wanganui, Rangitikei. Taranaki, and Manawatu should be associated in one tournament, and Hutt Valley, Wellington, Wairarapa, and Horowhenua in the other.
