ACCIDENTS

Suffering from severe burns to his face and from shock, J. Dounoghue, aged 14, a messenger boy living at 202 High Street, Lower Hutt, was taken to the hospital this morning. The injuries were caused by the ignition of a tin of inflammable material.

John Brown, aged six, 15 Highbury Crescent, had his right thigh broken this morning when he was knocked down by a milk van near his home.

Isabel Brown, aged two, was scalded on the face when she pulled over a kettle of boiling wate yesterday evening at her home in Miramar.

Knocked down by a motor-van just before 9 a.m. today at the corner of Lambton Quay and Willis Street, Mrs. G. Geoghegan, 21 Queen Street, sustained face injuries and concussion. She was taken to the hospital by the Free Ambulance, as were the other accident cases.
